A Genius Game Plan
It seems like just yesterday they were such cute babies…
And then they grow up.
Teens really get a bad rap. The teen years are so confusing. Especially right now! This is when they are supposed to be planning for the future but they are hearing all around them that the world is going to end!
It can be hard to envision a positive future, even for adults.
But that is what teens need to do. Heck! That is what all of us need them to do! It is all about having a growth mindset rather than a fixed mindset.
Have you heard of growth and fixed mindsets? Carol Dweck has a book that goes into it that I recommend but you can also get a taste of it by watching her TEDx talk “The Power of Yet.”
There is a huge motivational power behind the idea of “YET.”
I don’t know something… yet.
I haven’t tried something… yet.
I haven’t succeeded at something… yet.
It is the expectation, the hope, of things to come.
If you know of a teen that needs some help finding the motivation to create an amazing future for themselves and the world, let me know. I’d love to help.
I’ve put together a program for teens and their parents.
It is very straightforward. There are a few online tests to do and a worksheet to complete. These are submitted to me and I go over them before we meet online for a 45-minute coaching call to discuss it and form a game plan for the future.
The Genius Game Plan is meant to give teens and their parents a vision for the future.
